Request University of Hawaii to establish culturally appropriate curriculum for training community health workers that reflects the diverse needs of Hawaii's communities.

Request University of Hawaii to incorporate distance-learning options to provide equitable access to community health worker training programs for neighbor island students.

Request University of Hawaii to identify additional methods to align community health worker programs with the needs of the communities they serve.

Require University of Hawaii to submit a report of findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days prior to the 2023 Regular Session.

Direct transmission of the resolution to the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, Auditor, University of Hawaii System President, Kapiolani Community College Chancellor, and Hawaii Community College-Palamanui Director.
