Department of Education must assess whether existing child sexual abuse curriculum and training programs align with Erin's Law provisions.

Erin's Law requires public schools to teach students age-appropriate techniques to recognize child sexual abuse and report to trusted adults, train school personnel about child sexual abuse, and inform parents and guardians about warning signs and available resources.

Department of Education must work with advocacy groups including The Sex Abuse Treatment Center and Parents And Children Together in conducting the assessment.

Department must submit a report with findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2023 Regular Session convenes.

Certified copy of resolution must be transmitted to the Interim Superintendent of Education.
