Department of Education must conduct an electrical assessment of all public and conversion charter schools in Hawaii to determine if electrical capacity is sufficient for air conditioning units and air purifying devices.

Assessment shall evaluate each classroom's electrical capacity needs and identify the level of improvements required for each school.

Department must submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2023 Regular Session convening.
