Acknowledges mothers' disproportionate impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, including health issues, domestic violence, unemployment, and notes that over 140,000 U.S. children lost parents or caregivers to COVID-19.

Recognizes working mothers are leaving the workforce at four times the rate of men and that mothers' work is often undervalued, underappreciated, and unpaid.

Urges Hawaii residents to express love, respect, care, and gratitude to mothers through events, programs, ceremonies, and activities throughout the state.
