Urges the Board of Education and Department of Education to rename President William McKinley High School back to Honolulu High School, its original name established in 1865.

Requests removal of the statue of President William McKinley from the school premises, asserting it was erected in 1911 as a symbol of subjugation of Native Hawaiians rather than to honor the president.

Contends that the 1907 school renaming and McKinley statue were part of a political indoctrination strategy to convince Hawaiian residents they are American, despite approximately 80 percent of the adult population signing the Kūʻe Petitions against annexation in 1897.

Requests that public school curricula be made inclusive of content on historical injustice and discrimination endured by Hawaii's indigenous people.

Directs transmission of certified copies of the resolution to Hawaii's Congressional delegation, the Governor, Board of Education leadership, Department of Education officials, and the McKinley High School Foundation.
