Urges the City and County of Honolulu to use the Waianae Sustainable Communities Plan (adopted March 2, 2012, as Ordinance 12-3) when approving planning permits for developments on the Waianae coast.

Requires consideration of any updates to the plan that may be enacted by ordinance during the permit approval process.

Notes that the City and County has not previously referenced the plan when issuing permits for Waianae coast development despite the plan's policies, guidelines, and conceptual schemes serving as a development guide.

Emphasizes that new developments' impact on existing adjoining communities and infrastructure needs must be balanced with adequate services for new projects.

Directs certified copies of the resolution to be sent to the Mayor and Director of Planning and Permitting of the City and County of Honolulu.
