Request State Foundation on Culture and the Arts to report total funding expended from Works of Art Special Fund for Native Hawaiian art curation and acquisition.

Require report to include number of Native Hawaiian art pieces acquired, percentage of all works collected that are Native Hawaiian art, cost per piece, and percentage of total acquisition costs attributed to Native Hawaiian art.

Define Native Hawaiian art as art produced by individuals of Native Hawaiian descent.

Require submission of report to Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2023 Regular Session convenes.

Note that current Foundation strategic priorities dedicate only one of twelve objectives to Native Hawaiians, and performing arts like hula and oli are not currently supported through the Works of Art Special Fund.
