Requests the State Auditor to assess the social and financial effects of mandating health insurance coverage for oocyte cryopreservation (egg freezing) procedures as proposed in S.B. No. 2917, S.D. 2.

Requires the assessment to be conducted pursuant to sections 23-51 and 23-52 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes, which mandate auditor review before the legislature can consider health insurance coverage mandates.

Directs the Auditor to submit a report of findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days prior to the convening of the Regular Session of 2023.

Acknowledges that women undergoing chemotherapy, surgery, or facing premature ovarian failure or ovarian disease have high risk of infertility and may benefit from egg freezing coverage.

Requires certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the Auditor and Insurance Commissioner.
