Requests the Governor establish a Hawaii Commission on the United States Semiquincentennial by Executive Order to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 2026

Commission would coordinate a statewide effort to plan and celebrate the founding of the United States, aligned with the federally-established United States Semiquincentennial Commission created under P.L. 114-196

Notes that 18 states have already created similar commissions to participate in America250's observance efforts

Requires certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Governor, Chairman of the U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission, and Executive Director of the U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission
