Urges the Department of Education to incorporate media literacy into existing Hawaii state public school curriculum

Requests the Department of Education to consider incorporating media literacy instruction into English or Social Studies courses

Urges the Department to review Colorado's 2019 Media Literacy Advisory Committee Report and consider legislation similar to California's Senate Bill 830 and Colorado's HB 21-1103

Directs the Department to consider creating an online resource bank of media literacy materials and providing technical assistance to schools implementing media literacy policies

Requires certified copies be transmitted to the Governor, Board of Education Chairperson, and Superintendent of Education
