Requests the Department of Land and Natural Resources recognize game mammals and birds as a sustainable food source for Hawaii, provided negative environmental impacts are minimized through native ecosystem protections.

Requests each state department, agency, and office incorporate local hunting and fishing industries into their food security and sustainability strategies.

Requires principal state departments to submit reports to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2023 and 2024 regular sessions detailing their progress in incorporating hunting and fishing industries, including findings, recommendations, and proposed legislation.

Acknowledges Hawaii's heavy reliance on imported food and vulnerability to supply chain disruptions, with game management offering benefits such as reducing agricultural damage, controlling weeds, and reducing grass fire fuel in watersheds.

Directs certified copies be transmitted to the Governor and all executive department heads.
