Requests the State Auditor to assess the social and financial effects of mandating health insurance coverage for hearing aids, as proposed in S.B. No. 2439, S.D. 1 from the 2022 Regular Session.

Requires the Auditor to submit findings and recommendations, including any proposed legislation, to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2023 Regular Session convenes.

Mandates compliance with Hawaii Revised Statutes sections 23-51 and 23-52, which require auditor assessment before any health insurance coverage mandate can be considered.

Directs certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the Auditor and Insurance Commissioner.
