Request the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts to report total funding expended from the Works of Art Special Fund for Native Hawaiian art curation and acquisition.

Report must include number of Native Hawaiian art pieces acquired, percentage of all works collected that are Native Hawaiian art, cost per piece, and percentage of total acquisition costs attributed to Native Hawaiian art.

Foundation must submit the report to the Legislature no later than twenty days prior to the convening of the Regular Session of 2023.

Resolution notes that Native Hawaiian art is underrepresented in the Foundation's strategic priorities and that performing arts like hula, oli, and mele are not currently supported through the Works of Art Special Fund.
