Require the Department of Agriculture to use consistent units of measurement in public reports on restricted use pesticides used by county.

Expand pesticide buffer zones from 100 feet to one-half mile (2,640 feet) around schools during normal school hours, effective January 1, 2024.

Extend the one-half mile buffer zone requirement to state and county public parks.

Prohibit the application of restricted use pesticides within one-half mile of schools or public parks, with exception for whole structure fumigation and when pesticide labels specify more restrictive provisions.

Legislation finds that pesticide drift can occur up to 0.8 miles from application sites and poses neurological risks to children.
