Establishes the sustainable food systems working group within the Department of Agriculture to develop an interagency food systems plan linked to United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Working group composed of 23 members including legislators, state agency representatives, university representatives, county food access coordinators, farmers, and representatives from agricultural and food industry organizations.

Interagency food systems plan must address food as a human right, social equity and food justice, food system resilience, agriculture sustainability, circular economy principles, workforce development, and food governance.

Working group must submit the interagency food systems plan and implementation recommendations to the legislature no later than twenty days prior to the regular session of 2025, and the group dissolves on June 30, 2025.

Appropriates unspecified general revenue funds for fiscal years 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 to establish the working group, develop the plan, and create sustainability specialist positions in the Department of Agriculture.
