Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 201H-38(a)(3)(A) to modify the deadline for county legislative bodies to approve or disapprove affordable housing projects submitted by the Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation (HHFDC)

Removes the current forty-five day approval deadline and replaces it with blank language, creating an unspecified timeline for county council action on preliminary plans and specifications

Maintains the deemed approval provision whereby projects are automatically approved if the county does not disapprove by the specified deadline (currently the forty-sixth day)

Effective date of July 1, 3000 (appears to be a typographical error)
