Establishes a Prevent Suicide Hawai'i Working Group within the Office of Wellness and Resilience to examine and improve education, awareness, support services, and outreach for suicide prevention, with particular focus on Native Hawaiians, Pacific Islanders, farmers, youth, LGBTQIA+, veterans, and other CDC-identified high-risk populations.

Working group shall consist of representatives from state departments (Health, Education, Human Services, Public Safety), University of Hawai'i medical school, judiciary, legislature, federal agencies, military branches, suicide prevention organizations, mental health advocates, and Native Hawaiian health organizations.

Executive Director of the Office of Wellness and Resilience shall serve as chair of the working group.

Working group shall implement recommendations from the Prevent Suicide Hawai'i Task Force's interim report issued pursuant to H.C.R. No. 66, S.D. 1 (2016).

Working group shall report findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the legislature no later than twenty days before the 2025 regular session; members serve without compensation but receive reimbursement for reasonable expenses.
