Increases administrative penalties for registrants, commercial applicators, wholesalers, dealers, retailers, and other distributors who violate Hawaii pesticides law from a maximum of $5,000 to $10,000 per offense, with a minimum penalty of $1,000.

Increases administrative penalties for private applicators or other persons violating pesticide use provisions from a maximum of $1,000 to $5,000 per offense, with a minimum penalty of $250.

Increases criminal penalties (misdemeanor) for registrants, commercial applicators, wholesalers, dealers, retailers, and other distributors who knowingly violate pesticide laws from a maximum fine of $25,000 to $35,000.

Increases criminal penalties (misdemeanor) for private applicators or other persons who knowingly violate pesticide laws from a maximum fine of $1,000 to $5,000.

Effective date is June 30, 3000.
