Expands jurisdiction for domestic abuse protective order petitions to include family courts where the petitioner resides or is temporarily located, the respondent resides, a protected minor or incapacitated person resides or is temporarily located, or where the domestic abuse occurred.

Allows petitions for domestic abuse protective orders to be filed when a family or household member who is a minor, incapacitated person, or physically unable to travel to file resides or is temporarily located in the court's jurisdiction.

Expands jurisdiction for harassment restraining order petitions to include district courts where the petitioner resides or is temporarily located, the respondent resides, or where the harassment occurred.

Requires courts to give docket priority to domestic abuse protective order actions.

Effective upon approval.
