Establishes the Hawaii Sports Task Force within the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism to plan and coordinate efforts to attract major sporting events to Hawaii.

Task force will focus on securing National Football League events (Pro Bowl and preseason games), world-title soccer tournaments, Ultimate Fighting Championship events at Aloha Stadium, and other sporting events statewide including golf, kickboxing, wrestling, motor-cross, tennis, volleyball, sailing, marathons, and cycling.

Task force membership includes the governor, four county mayors, stadium authority chairperson, representatives from the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii, Hawaii Tourism Authority, Hawaii lodging and tourism association, two state legislators, county economic development board representatives, and a Hawaiian cultural specialist.

Task force shall meet quarterly and must submit a report with findings and recommendations to the legislature no later than twenty days before the 2024 regular session convenes.

Task force shall be dissolved on January 5, 2024, with administrative support provided by the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism.
