Requires each public school and public charter school to establish a critical emergency response team composed of staff members with current certifications in first aid, CPR, and automated external defibrillator use.

Critical emergency response team members must maintain certifications from department-approved organizations, with certifications valid for no more than two years.

Defines "critical emergency" as situations where a person faces immediate danger of loss of life, including cardiac arrest, choking, or uncontrolled bleeding.

Appropriates unspecified sums from general revenues for fiscal years 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 to public schools and the state public charter school commission to implement the critical emergency response teams.
