Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 201-13.8 to authorize the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism to collect and analyze wages and hours of employment data from employers.

Requires all employers subject to Chapter 371 to maintain records of employees, wages, and hours of employment for one year, and to keep current physical address and North American Industry Classification System code information.

Grants the department access to and the right to copy employer records pertinent to wage and hour collection, with employers required to furnish copies upon department request using department-prescribed forms.

Maintains confidentiality protections for individually identifiable information collected through surveys, with exceptions allowing sharing with other government agencies under existing law.

Effective June 30, 3000.
