Appropriates general funds to the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism for fiscal year 2023-2024 to cover expenses related to building renovations of its offices on the fifth floor of the No. 1 Capitol District Building at 250 South Hotel Street, Honolulu.

Covers renovation-related expenses not included in the Department of Accounting and General Services' bid solicitation, including decluttering, moving and storage of items, and replacement of partitions.

Addresses health and safety concerns and deteriorating conditions that require the entire fifth floor to be completely gutted and renovated.

References a $660,000 appropriation from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 that was line-item vetoed by the governor in 2022.

Takes effect on July 1, 2050.
