Request the Board of Education to report on ways to increase access to extended learning opportunities and course credits for non-traditional and external learning experiences.

Board of Education must identify the number of students enrolled in Alternative Learning Programs, Services, and Supports during the 2022-2023 school year.

Board of Education must recommend a process for all public school students to enroll in credit-bearing extended learning opportunities, including internships, apprenticeships, capstones, and work-based learning programs.

Board of Education must recommend a process for community organizations to register as extended learning opportunity providers and recommend necessary policy changes to enable access to these programs.

Board of Education must submit findings and recommendations to the Legislature no later than twenty days prior to the convening of the 2024 Regular Session.
