Requests the Department of Human Services Med-QUEST Division to expand the types of qualified providers allowed to provide lactation consultant services to Hawaii's Medicaid population.

Directs Med-QUEST Division to work with the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs to obtain necessary approvals and create internal processes to expand access to providers with International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners certification.

Requires Med-QUEST Division to submit a report to the Legislature no later than twenty days prior to the convening of the Regular Session of 2024 on steps taken and progress made in expanding provider types.

Directs transmission of certified copies of the resolution to the Director of Human Services, Director of Health, Director of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, and Administrator of the Med-QUEST Division.
