Congratulates Esther Kwon on receiving the 2023 Milken Educator Award; she is Assistant Principal at Daniel K. Inouye Elementary School and has served the Wahiawa community for ten years as a teacher and tutor.

Recognizes Hippolyte Assi as the Hilo-Waiakea Complex finalist for the 2022 Teacher of Promise Award; he holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and teaches health services at Hilo High School.

Honors Annie Henbest as the Ka'u-Kea'au-Pahoa Complex finalist for the 2022 Teacher of Promise Award; she has served as an educator for ten years and currently serves as Vice Principal of Pahoa High and Intermediate School.

Commends Jessica Lobo Atnip as the 'Aiea-Moanalua-Radford Complex finalist for the 2022 Teacher of Promise Award; she has served 'Aiea Intermediate School for three years as an English and English Language Arts teacher.

Recognizes Kisa Matlin as the Pearl City-Waipahu Complex finalist for the 2022 Teacher of Promise Award; she is in her third year of teaching at Waipahu High School as a Science and CTE educator with the Academy of Natural Resources.
