Urges the Department of Facility Maintenance of the City and County of Honolulu to conduct an assessment and prepare and execute a plan to maintain Manoa Stream

Notes that Manoa Stream experienced a major flood on October 30, 2004, that caused over $80,000,000 in damage to 32 buildings on the University of Hawaii at Manoa campus

References that the 2004 flood damaged hundreds of thousands of historical maps, aerial photographs, government documents, computers, and servers at Hamilton Library, with floodwaters reaching eight feet deep

States that government entities previously committed to performing dredging activities of Manoa Stream twice per year from upstream of Kahaloa Drive bridge to downstream of Woodlawn Drive Bridge

Requires that a certified copy of the resolution be transmitted to the Director and Chief Engineer of the Department of Facility Maintenance of the City and County of Honolulu
