Replaces gender-specific terminology with gender-neutral language throughout Hawaii statutes related to adoption, divorce, and family law matters.

Changes references to "mother" and "father" to "birthing parent" and "non-birthing parent" in sections 321-342, 571-61, 578-1, 578-2, 578-14.5, and 578-15.

Replaces gendered pronouns and spousal references (e.g., "husband and wife," "man and woman," "stepfather") with gender-neutral equivalents (e.g., "married couple," "person," "birthing parent's spouse") in divorce and annulment statutes.

Updates family definitions in sections 321-342 and 587A-4 to use gender-neutral terminology while maintaining the same legal relationships and rights.

Takes effect on March 22, 2075.
