Changes the Department of Education's reporting requirement on autism spectrum disorder from quarterly to annual reports to Act 205, Session Laws of Hawaii 2018.

Annual reports must include the number of students eligible for special education services under autism spectrum disorder with an individualized education program.

Reports must continue to cover staffing updates and needs, Medicaid reimbursement schedules and amounts, licensure updates, and applied behavior analysis requirements.

Reduces administrative burden on the Department of Education while maintaining substantive reporting on autism spectrum disorder services and resources.
