Amends Act 257, Session Laws of Hawaii 2022 to expand the $200,000,000 appropriation for fiscal year 2022-2023 beyond pre-kindergarten expansion to include affordable housing for Department of Education teachers.

Authorizes the School Facilities Authority to construct new affordable housing for Department of Education teachers using appropriated funds.

Authorizes the School Facilities Authority to renovate, improve, and expand existing affordable housing for Department of Education teachers.

Permits the School Facilities Authority to expend funds on any other costs deemed appropriate to provide affordable housing to Department of Education teachers.

All appropriated moneys unencumbered as of June 30, 2024 shall lapse on that date.
