HI SB330

Grants the Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation (HHFDC) a right of first refusal for development of state lands located within county-designated transit-oriented development zones or within one-half mile of a proposed or existing transit station.

Excludes lands owned or operated by the Hawaii Public Housing Authority, Department of Hawaiian Home Lands, and the Stadium Development District from the right of first refusal.

Requires state departments and agencies to provide HHFDC with 60 calendar days advance written notice before approving any proposed development or property transfer on eligible state lands.

Allows state departments or agencies to proceed with development if HHFDC does not exercise its right of first refusal within 60 calendar days of receiving written notice.

Takes effect on July 1, 2050.
