Adds a new section to Hawaii Revised Statutes Chapter 708 authorizing state and county law enforcement officers to enforce trespass laws on all public land regardless of whether it is owned by the State or a county

Clarifies that this enforcement authority does not alter existing law enforcement responsibilities or jurisdictional boundaries between state and county officers

Exempts native Hawaiian rights customarily and traditionally exercised for subsistence, cultural, and religious purposes under article XII, section 7 of the Hawaii State Constitution from the trespass enforcement provisions

Takes effect upon approval
