Requires state and county-owned vehicles purchased on or after January 1, 2026, to use broadband audible reverse warning systems instead of traditional tonal alarms (back-up beepers).

Defines "vehicle" to include earthmoving and compacting equipment such as bulldozers, graders, scrapers, loaders, tractors, and similar equipment.

Allows the Director of Transportation to grant exemptions if broadband warning systems are unavailable.

Cites studies showing broadband alarms are nearly two-thirds more effective than tonal alarms at preventing workplace injuries and reducing noise pollution.

Takes effect upon approval of the Act.
