Requires each public school to have staff trained and authorized to administer epinephrine, with a minimum of one trained staff member per 100 students or one per floor of each school building with student access.

Requires each public charter school to maintain the same staffing requirements for epinephrine administration as public schools.

Mandates prominently displayed signs in school buildings describing anaphylaxis symptoms and proper epinephrine administration methods for both public schools and charter schools.

Appropriates funding for fiscal years 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 to train public school and public charter school staff in epinephrine administration (specific amount not filled in bill).

Becomes effective July 1, 2023, with the department of education to adopt implementing rules.
