Amends Section 235-17, Hawaii Revised Statutes, to modify requirements for the motion picture, digital media, and film production income tax credit.

Changes compliance requirement from "be compliant" to "provide evidence of reasonable efforts to comply" with all applicable requirements under title 14, including tax return filing and payments.

Requires taxpayers to receive notice and an opportunity to cure any deficiencies in meeting the credit requirements before disqualification.

Takes effect on January 6, 2050.
