Amends Section 201-2 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes to add new subsection (c) granting the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism authority to acquire real, personal, or mixed property by grant or purchase.

Authorizes the department to clear, improve, and rehabilitate property, and to sell, assign, exchange, transfer, convey, lease, dispose of, or encumber such property.

Grants the department condemnation authority to acquire property pursuant to Chapter 101 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes.

Takes effect on March 22, 2075.
