Requests the State Auditor to conduct a performance audit of all programs within the State Historic Preservation Division of the Department of Land and Natural Resources.

Audit must evaluate whether the division completes review and response to submittals within established timeframes, current project review practices, and efforts to streamline processes including burial site discovery.

Audit must assess standardization of monitoring protocols including cultural impact assessment guidance, actions to address project review backlog, and recommended improvements or proposed legislation.

Auditor must submit findings and recommendations to the Legislature no later than twenty days prior to the convening of the Regular Session of 2025.

Certified copies of the resolution shall be transmitted to the Auditor, Chairperson of the Board of Land and Natural Resources, and Administrator of the State Historic Preservation Division.
