Office of Hawaiian Affairs is requested to establish and maintain Hawaiian cultural centers within the State by a specified deadline.

Each cultural center must be dedicated to Hawaiian culture and history with emphasis on the geographic location, contain static and interactive displays, offer regular classes in Hawaiian chanting, dancing, music, language, and cultural practices, and serve as a public gathering space for celebrations.

Board of Trustees of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs must submit reports to the Legislature no later than twenty days prior to the 2024 and 2026 regular sessions detailing the status of implementation, estimated costs for planning and construction, proposed legislation, and other relevant information.

A certified copy of the resolution must be transmitted to the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs.
