• Request the Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation or appropriate state agency to conduct a feasibility study on redeveloping land at TMK (1) 2-8-015:001 for workforce housing and affiliated uses.

• Study must include a conceptual development plan with a market study and steps needed for development, conducted in cooperation with affected state agencies.

• Hawaii estimates need for 26,000 to 47,000 new housing units before 2030 to address critical housing shortage and workforce housing supply gap.

• Feasibility study report must be submitted to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the Regular Session of 2025 convenes.

• Certified copies of resolution to be transmitted to the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation Executive Director, University of Hawaii President, and relevant state agency directors.
