Request the State Auditor to conduct an impact assessment report on mandatory health insurance coverage for pharmacist services as proposed in Senate Bill No. 693 (2023 Regular Session), in accordance with Hawaii Revised Statutes sections 23-51 and 23-52.

Require the assessment to include analysis of section 1311(d)(3) of the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) regarding costs of benefits beyond essential health benefits in Hawaii's qualified health plans.

Direct the Auditor to determine the number of qualified health plans available in Hawaii, individual and group enrollment figures, and the actuarial cost to the State for reimbursing pharmacist-provided services.

Require the Auditor to submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the Regular Session of 2024 convenes.

Direct the Insurance Commissioner to transmit copies of the concurrent resolution to all insurers in the State that issue health insurance policies.
