Requests the Board of Education to review and consider implementation of five specific programs and curriculum areas in Hawaii public schools: bicycle grants, media literacy, civic education, financial literacy, and American Sign Language.

Bicycle grant program would provide subsidized bicycles to high school students to improve school attendance, reduce tardiness, and increase class time by addressing transportation barriers.

Media literacy and civic education programs would teach students to recognize disinformation, misinformation, and online hate speech while developing critical thinking skills necessary for democratic citizenship.

Financial literacy curriculum would prepare students in economic and financial matters, promoting fiscal responsibility and financial management skills for future financial stability and success.

American Sign Language courses would be recognized as a world language option, providing accessibility for hearing-impaired students and students with deaf family members while building marketable language skills.
