Chief Information Officer is requested to review whether all state departments, agencies, and offices have up-to-date technology to reduce cyber threats and protect against cyberattacks.

All state departments, agencies, and offices are requested to cooperate with and assist the Chief Information Officer in determining what technology upgrades are needed to address disruptive hacks, ransomware attacks, data breaches, and digital scams.

Chief Information Officer is requested to submit a report of findings and recommendations, including proposed legislation and prioritized technology upgrade projects, to the Legislature prior to the 2024 Regular Session.

Certified copies of the resolution shall be transmitted to the Governor and Chief Information Officer.
