Office of Planning and Sustainable Development is requested to convene a multiagency working group to identify sites capable of accommodating 10,000 new homes per year for 50 years.

Working group must include the Chief Housing Officer of the Office of the Governor and representatives from Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation, Hawaii Community Development Authority, Hawaii Public Housing Authority, and Office of Planning and Sustainable Development.

Working group is requested to submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the 2024 Regular Session begins.

Certified copies of the resolution must be transmitted to the Governor, Chief Housing Officer, Director of the Office of Planning and Sustainable Development, and Executive Directors of the three housing corporations mentioned.
