Department of Facility Maintenance of the City and County of Honolulu is requested to dredge and clean the Ulehawa Stream and Canal on a quarterly basis.

Department of Health is requested to conduct water quality testing of the Ulehawa Stream and Canal quarterly, at a minimum every two years.

Army Corps of Engineers is urged to work with the Department of Facility Maintenance to design and construct a permanent solution, including a potential stream groin at the mouth of the Ulehawa Stream, coordinated with the Department of Transportation's planned 2025 Ulehawa Stream Bridge rehabilitation.

Hawaii's congressional delegation is requested to prioritize finding a permanent solution for the Ulehawa Stream and Canal and assist in securing federal funding.

Certified copies of the resolution must be transmitted to the Army Corps of Engineers Honolulu District Commander, Hawaii's congressional delegation, Department of Transportation, Department of Facility Maintenance, and Honolulu Board of Water Supply.
