Request the Judiciary to conduct a study of Senate Bill No. 619 from the 2023 Regular Session, which would authorize geographic restriction sentences for misdemeanants with two prior misdemeanor convictions in Ewa Beach, Kapolei, or Waianae.

Require assessment of the bill's potential fiscal impacts on the Judiciary, county prosecutors, Office of the Public Defender, and other governmental agencies.

Require assessment of the bill's potential impact on crime rates in the affected areas.

Require examination of other relevant issues as appropriate.

Require the Judiciary to submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2024 Regular Session convenes.
