Requests the University of Hawaii at Manoa College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources (CTAHR) to convene a working group to evaluate updating its cooperative extension sites.

Working group must submit a report of findings and recommendations, including any proposed legislation, to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2024 Regular Session convening.

CTAHR must submit a separate report detailing the status of its cooperative extension sites and staff to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2024 Regular Session convening.

Acknowledges that CTAHR manages eighteen agricultural research stations across Kauai, Oahu, Maui, Molokai, and Hawaii that have been hampered by deferred maintenance and lack of infrastructure investment.

Directs certified copies of the resolution be sent to the President of the University of Hawaii System, Board of Regents Chairperson, and CTAHR Dean and Director for Research and Cooperative Extension.
