Request Department of Agriculture to convene a Feral Game Mammal Working Group to find, solicit, and distribute grants for controlling feral game mammals that threaten Hawaii's ecosystems and communities.

Working group membership consists of: a Department of Agriculture Animal Industry Division member selected by the Board of Agriculture Chairperson; a Department of Land and Natural Resources Division of Forestry and Wildlife member selected by the Board of Land and Natural Resources Chairperson; and two community members from areas impacted by feral game mammals selected by the House Speaker and Senate President respectively.

Identify feral ungulates, pigs, mouflon sheep, and Axis deer (over 60,000 in Maui County) as major threats causing ecosystem damage, disease transmission to native birds and humans, and destruction of native vegetation and habitat.

Direct transmission of certified resolution copies to the Chairperson of the Board of Agriculture and Chairperson of the Board of Land and Natural Resources.
