Requests convening of a Sunset Memorial Park Working Group to study solutions for the legal and physical issues at Sunset Memorial Park in Pearl City and develop a long-term management plan.

Working Group composition includes one Senate member (Co-Chairperson), one House member (Co-Chairperson), Directors of Commerce and Consumer Affairs and Comptroller, Attorney General, one Pearl City Neighborhood Board member, and one Friends of Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery member.

Directs Working Group to follow up with the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs on developments since Act 193 (Session Laws of Hawaii 2018) was enacted.

Requires Working Group to submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2024 Regular Session convenes.

Addresses cemetery neglect including damaged mausoleum, sinking graves, overgrown vegetation, vandalism, and security issues resulting from the owning company's 2006 involuntary dissolution and owner's 2011 death.
