Requests the Hawaii Civil Rights Commission and Executive Office on Aging to study age discrimination in hiring of applicants over age 60

Directs the agencies to investigate discriminatory practices and barriers preventing seniors from reentering the workforce

Requires agencies to provide recommendations on mitigation measures to eliminate age discrimination and reduce hiring barriers for applicants over 60

Mandates submission of findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the start of the 2024 Regular Session

Directs certified copies be sent to the Director of Labor and Industrial Relations, Director of Health, Executive Director of the Hawaii Civil Rights Commission, and Director of the Executive Office on Aging
