Commission members appointed by the governor, Senate president, House speaker, chief justice, and OHA board chairperson must be subject to Senate advice and consent.

Oversight Coordinator term extended from two years to four years.

Commission must publish a summary of completed investigations (without identifying complainants or witnesses) and any actions taken in response.

Commission authorized to hold closed executive sessions to discuss investigated complaints with the Oversight Coordinator when necessary to maintain confidentiality.

Oversight Coordinator's authority broadened to make inquiries, obtain information, and inspect premises of agencies and correctional facilities outside of investigations.
